Are you getting enough of this?
Because it's one of the healthiest things that you can get.
It's laughter.
(Pause for a long chorus of groans.)
Sure, you were expecting something else, such as applesauce, but this article is about laughter.
Recognize that laughter is good for you because it's an essential part of living well, being creative, and feeling good.
So, here is a friendly reminder to find a way to laugh today.
I realize that some people out there will find this to be a challenge. They haven't even smiled since they were two (give or take a few years).
Let's recognize that funny things can be found everywhere. For example, look around the office. All those people actually think they know what they're doing. If you doubt this, ask them.
For example, that manager who holds long meetings actually believes others are impressed by having to endure hours sitting in a conference room listening to aimless chit chat.
That clerk who multitasks on nine different projects at the same time actually believes this is the secret to being productive.
That executive who's too busy to talk to anyone actually believes that being unapproachable is the mark of great leadership.
That supervisor who uses teeny weenie type with 9,600 words on each slide actually believes others are impressed by text they can't read.
Are you laughing yet?
If not, here is a quick laugh start. Read the following out loud:
"Ha ha ha ha ho ho hee hee ho ho ha ha snork ha ha ha ho ho hee ho ho ha ha ha snork snork snork ha ha ha ha ha ha."
Okay, are you laughing now?
If not, I'm sure everyone who heard you is.
Key Point: Business is too goofy to be taken seriously.
Much success,
