It's an old question.
Which came first: The thought or the act?
In this case, I'm wondering if we think our way into good living or if we live our way into good thinking.
Notice that this forms a circle.
Your thoughts become your life and your life defines your thoughts.
Now we could argue over which was which until it was too late to matter.
So here's a suggestion: start with either. That is, you could:
1) Put a positive thought in your mind. Then use that to do something good. Continue to add more positive thoughts, expanding your way into greater excellence.
2) Or start by doing something worthwhile. Then use that victory as the inspiration for doing more good things.
This brings us to a larger issue: Life is about being and doing, and NOT about worrying where or when to start.
So, begin now. Anywhere.
Key Point: It's more important to be moving than wondering when to start.
